Day One: Sauvie/Scappoose and Hair-Dye

Alright here we go...
So as I drug out leaving Wilson Hall, in my Spring term of my senior year (yes, senior year, not graduating, going on to my 5th) at Oregon State... I and what I could pack of my belongings into the Purple Volvo, ventured off with the Mullen's, to Sauvie Island in Portland, Oregon.
After I have been acquainted here, for now almost 24 hours, I was awoken this morning to Gyllian (my little freckle-faced, strawberry blonde 7 year old partner in crime) a big smile, and a "Do you want Blueberry Pancakes?"... remind you, this was at 7:50am this morning, a time that wasn't of bother due to the fact that I actually went to bed at 9:45pm last night, the earliest I have been to bed, since I was 17. So I got myself out of bed, and met Jill at the table for morning breakfast... we chowed down our blueberry and chocolate chip pancakes... and her mother, Molly, whisked her off to the bus-stop for her day at school. After we got ready for the day, Molly left for work, and Ellie and I hopped into the Purple Volvo (which for the summer, I'll call the Purple People Eater, or PPE), so Ellie (the 15 year old bright and smiling teen, turning 23 next month) and Jewel (the house Corgi) and I, drove to Scappoose H.S. to drop Ellie off for her last week of classes. After dropping Ellie off, Jewel and I went to Ace hardware for lightbulbs and Key-copies... then to Freddy's for Hair dye (spontaneous decision) then back to the homestead aka. "Honeybee Hampton" for some loud radio on the Bose, Pomegranate Limeade and hair-dying messes.
So this was all before 12... and now, I will be relaxing, finishing Slumdog Millionaire and waiting to meet Jill again at her school for a little show and tell.

For the day: Scappoose, Mini-chocolate chips, Jewel, Lily Allen and a nap.
