Day 15: Another day at Honeybee Hampton

Today was a pretty low key day... the girls came over at 8-ish... and they all played lots of different games together... leaving me to have the opportunity to get some sun and read on the deck for hours. So I have gotten to page 184 of the 213 page, Loose Girl and it's is really good. Great writer and I feel very connected to the writer, due to the fact that I had and still to this day have the same thoughts that she has had. Anyone reading should check it out. So basically what I did today was make lunches/snacks, have around for a little bit of entertainment when things got boring, and as the mediator. After their afternoon snack, we went to Sauvie Island Farms to pick Raspberries and Bluberries, which was fun... the sun was super hot today, so we all got a little pink. After the girls left, Jillian and I watched Arthur and Wordgirl, then we went and read on the trampoline for a little. I really enjoy when it's just Jillian and I, and she shared that she really enjoys when we get to hang out and do fun things too... so that's nice that we have bonded so well. Then Molly came home, made us some broccoli and couscous with chicken and a lemon/fruit sauce, it was odd, but very good... then we pitched a tent for Ellie's sleepover tonight, and Jillian and I then retired to the master bedroom for a little evening movie, and teddy bear stuff animal clothes making. I made both our animals little vests, one with a felt carrot on it, and the other with a little pumpkin, both very cute, but 80's/michael jackson-esk... then the girls all got back made pizza, Jillian attempted to go to bed (is still in the process, as I'm writing) and Molly bought me Ben and Jerry's Coffee Heath Crunch (my favorite) so I dipped into a little of that, plus a little girl chat with the teens, then off to bed... I'm going to try and finish my book, but I want to get to bed early... ZOO tomorrow, yay! But give me strength.

For the day: Raspberries, Blueberries, Reading ++, Teddybear clothes, and addiction fix
